Summer Reading

Summer reading assignments correspond with the English course that you are taking in the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. To get started, please see the information posted for your grade level for the upcoming school year and then navigate to the English course you are enrolled in to view your assigned text along with the accompanying assignment. There are also assignments for the Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement courses listed below. Once you have completed the assignment, you can upload it and your teacher will have access to it. 

All students are responsible for completing the summer reading assignments by the posted deadlines, whether they are taking English in the fall or the spring term.

Students who are enrolled in a summer Theology class at SJV are exempt from the summer reading requirement UNLESS they are taking an AP Course, in which case they are responsible for the AP summer reading assignment.
